MEETING SUMMARY
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, the Stehekin Community Plan Project Team hosted a meeting and workshop at the Stehekin School (and virtually via Zoom) to continue developing the community plan. Participants reviewed the plan’s purpose, objectives, and timeline, received an update on the Advisory Group, learned more about current zoning and additional zoning options available, and provided feedback on draft plan sections.
THE PURPOSE OF THE PLAN
The Stehekin Community Plan will establish policy and strategy to guide land use, interagency partnerships, and public and private investment in the Stehekin. The plan will supplement Chelan County's Comprehensive Plan, augmenting existing policy with more detail tailored to guiding land use, public investment, and interagency coordination in and around Stehekin.
