The Community Plan is now moving into the draft review phase. The Advisory Group will review the draft plan in late March, followed by broader community review in early May. A community meeting and additional opportunities for input will be available this spring and summer as the plan moves toward finalization.
The Advisory Group has continued to meet regularly, working through key topics and helping shape the draft Community Plan. At the most recent meeting, the group heard from Chelan County PUD and had an opportunity to ask questions and discuss system capacity and future considerations. Meeting summaries and materials from all meetings are available on the project website.
Community feedback collected throughout the planning process has helped shape the draft Community Plan. Additional opportunities for input will be available as the draft is shared with the community this spring and during the review process this summer.
The project team has been working to refine and improve the accuracy of zoning and parcel data, including correcting discrepancies identified in earlier mapping. At the same time, the Advisory Group and project team have continued discussions about potential zoning approaches that could support the mission, vision, and goals of the Community Plan.
As this work moves forward, additional analysis and information will be developed to help better understand the implications of different zoning options and support future decision-making.
