NEXT STEPS

1. Next Advisory Group meeting to be held by mid-March
2. Team is currently working to draft the plan's mission, vision, and goals to be reviewed and refined by the Advisory Group 
3. Targeting the end of March for the release of the draft for broader community review and feedback 
4. The final draft will reflect input from both the Advisory Group and the broader community

The first round of feedback has been used to prepare the initial draft of the Community Plan.

The next iteration of the draft will be circulated for review and comment among the Advisory Group and the broader community. All feedback will be considered, and there will be another formal opportunity for input before the plan is finalized.

Zoning Analysis
A key priority moving forward is gaining a clearer understanding of potential zoning changes that could support the mission, vision, and goals of the Community Plan.

The Advisory Group and project team have discussed the need to narrow the list of zoning options for further evaluation. In order to identify and select a preferred alternative, both the Advisory Group and the broader community will need more detailed information about the implications of each option.

Drafting Community Goals
Using the feedback received, the team is drafting community goals.

• Goals define what the community wants to accomplish.
• Policies provide tools to help achieve those goals through the Comprehensive Plan.

We are also evaluating which issues can be addressed through the Comprehensive Plan and which fall under the responsibility of other agencies or partners. Items outside the scope of the Comprehensive Plan will still be documented in the Community Plan for future community-led efforts.
